Slippery Drive Solution Please

The drive to my garage slopes up quite steeply so, when it's icy I can't get my car out even when the road is fine. It's also slippery when it's wet. The drive is concrete.
Is there anything I can put on the drive that will prevent me looking like Bambi when I'm walking on it and perhaps give the car some grip?
I've looked at Protecta-Kote but know nothing about it.

The cheap answer would be to paint it with exterior floor paint & throw some sand at it before it dries.....It would probably need doing every year & would look sh1te...
