Don't go there!!!! Look at some on-line forums, they are not a good company to deal with. They use every trick in the book to get your business.
We had them out for a quote because the glass in our conservatory doors needed replacing. Pressurised selling is putting it mildly! The wanted £900 for two new doors. We said we wanted to think about it, but he got his boss on the phone and he was trying to get my husband to sign up for finance (which we didn't want!). We went with a local firm who replaced the glass in both doors for £110!
I had a salesman of theirs on the doorstep in December and like an idiot told him to get back to me in February as I need all my windows replacing.
In January I had dozens of calls off them and in the end told them I was not interested.
This week I have had Mon-3 calls Tue-6 calls and Wed 12-calls.
I didn't answer any of these except for the final one where I managed to persuade them not to call again. (Threatened to report them for harassment)
Not the old "Boss on the phone routine"?
Probably just their fax number ;o)
No it was his boss, my husband spoke to him.
Sounds like "don't go there", col!

Just phoned them told them not bother cheers everyone
yes we had them out, got the boss on the phone routine, as if at our age we hadn't seen it before. Went to a local Co. their quote was the same as the 'sign up now' price fromm Safe Style. You probably will be hassled to death now. I don't know how many calls we have had now where I have told them the job has been done.
We had a new bathroom window last year from safe style. Because we were getting only one window it was reduced by 50%. The window is brilliant and we were really pleased with the work. If we could afford it we would get all the other windows done. Only had the one done as it was in a pretty bad way and we are planning on getting a new bathroom. Would have been a pity if it had been spoilt by the window.
"Because we were getting only one window it was reduced by 50%."

Pull the other one. What reference point did you use to establish the price of the window has (or had ever) been sold to any customer at twice what you eventually paid for it? What some salesperson told you, I expect.

Buy one window and you will inevitably pay more per window then if you have several windows fitted - whether fitted by SafeStyle or any supplier. It's called 'economy of scale' in setting up a project.
One of their pushy salesman was in our house for about five hours. First he produced the ordinary windows which looked awful, then he comes out with the "best" windows which of course were more expensive. I told him from the start all I wanted was a quote, but we went through the whole rigmarole and he just would not leave, he was determined to get me to sign on the day to receive all his special offers. We had the phone bit as well to his boss, what a load of rubbish. In the end to get him to leave, I went and sat in the kitchen and left my other half to get rid of him. How rude do you have to be to these people before they get the message?
i had safestyle out about 6 years ago but before the bloke even turned up i said i would be paying cash for 3 windows and a front door and so would not be using finance at all. they quoted me way expensive and just didn't want the job if i was not needing finance.
Foxy - 5 hours??? You need to learn some bad language :-)
yes ummmm I know plenty of words, I am just too polite!
