Ann this is Conn - like you I am thinking of a new suite and as I said to you they are like bricks - I looked up furniture village as other posters suggested and they do look lovely but unfortunately there is no store in Northern Ireland. If you ever get around to getting one can you let me know cos you can order online, however I am sceptical a bit because I do like to sit down on them to see how they feel - also I have always used fabric because most of my friends have said their leather suites are cold in the winter and warm and sticky in the summer - but I personally believe it depends on the leather.
I have looked at a suite in furniture village and putting the prices coming ie one settee and 2 chairs the price would be £1597 - didn't look at interest rates too much there - but I think there is 4 years interest free - would not care about that - just bloody comfy. Thanks if you do let me know - I know it takes time to get the right suite and good luck whatever you get.

I was concerned about squishability but this one has been great, has lasted ages, was v reasonable and has taken a complete hammering (think they even took the old one away). The only bad thing was how mean they were with the throw cushion things.
Maybe I will fly over to one of their stores in England - get a wee cheapie flight - no way - you know my two chairs are great cos they dont get abuse but I stick my big butt into the right seat of my settee and always end up with a big big dip and I have to stick mini pillows to up it a bit - so I may get an upholsterer to update the thing.
