Hi Cyber-peeps!  Who do you recommend to supply, design and install (with applicances) a galley style kitchen?  Had quotes from MFI, Homebase, etc. but not sure who is best?  Are there any other less-well known outlets (especially in the Manchester area) that out-do the big chains?  Thanks folks!

Try Magnet or possibly Kitchens Direct

B&Q r really good.

How about IKEA? My friend's daughter bought a lovely kitchen from them and they were extremely helpful. It looks really good.
There is a place in eccles salford called LPW its on Liverpool rd in eccles,i bought a kitchen from them about 15 years ago and its still in excellent condition-no hinges snapped or dropped ,i dont know if they design the kitchen for you ,ive just looked on yell and they do fitting and design!give them a ring on 0161 789 2161 and good luck in your quest!
Best bet is to get a good layout designed by Magnet, then buy the bits from Ikea who are a lot cheaper than Magnet.
PLEASE DONT BUY A MAGNET KITCHEN, THEY ARE A RIP OFF! I used to fit kitchens for them and now tell anyone who's thinking about a new kitchen not to go to magnet. In most cases you get what you pay for, not with magnet, with magnet you get a lot less than you pay for. The product quality is unbelivebly bad, In my opinion the flatpack off the shelve kitchens from b+q are better. Think carefuly before going into a magnet showroom!
near manchester try kitchens direct at rochdale or Stuart Frazer on deansgate
