I am considering making my children collages out of their old birthday cards. I want them to last but I have no idea where to start really. Any one have any ideas (my skill level is bored, totally non-artistic, amateur with too much time on my hands). Thank you.

Could you get them together, take a photo (if they show up well enough) and get it put on a canvas? They can be pricy but I've seen a few offers about lately.

you can buy clip frames quite cheaply in shops like Wilkinsons

I want to keep the cost as low as possible (in case it turns out to be a Sugar idea). Also I want it to take some time (otherwise I will be forced to do something else, like sort out wardrobes or something).
