After reading the instructions on how to mix and apply the compound, the final instruction read, "Gather everyone around to admire your work, take two steps backwards and take a bow". It's nice to see a bit of humour on something normally so matter-of fact.

That is clever! Years ago in the US we bought a bit of self assembly furniture. In th4 instructions, every so often, it had comments like "keep going, you are doing really well" The next bit is hard so go take a coffee break if you need one"

Had the same on a Panasonic tv. On the set page all it said was 'Switch on, make a cup of coffee, its automatic'

Some years ago I installed a central heating system. The parts and instructions were supplied by a firm of designers and their last instruction was to "sell all of your tools now, because you will never want to do this again" !
I'm going to suggest this next time we pour concrete in work,;).
