underfloor heating

ive currantly got storage heaters in my house. im thinking about installing underfloor heating in my hallway upstairs (including bathroom) entrance hallway and in my living room(with a fire)  as my main heat source in the house.can anyone recommend a company or any advice.(im going to lay lamanite floor at same time)

Well you can buy the stuff and do it yourself as apparently it doesn't need that much skill to need an electrician or something. Having said that, if you want so much of it, then a company could obviously get it cheaper than you and even after you'd paid their costs it might be worth it versus the hassle of doing it yourself. I'd shop around if I were you, to compare it. If you're absolutely decided that you're not doing it yourself, then just phone companies for quotes. They'll come out look at the situation and send you a quote in the post/email. They won't charge you for that - or at least they never used to, so check first!
I had underfloor heating installed by Floor Heating Systems Ltd. They are based in Nottingham but they have installers who cover most parts of the UK.
