Have any of you got one of the cheapie garden gazebos from somewhere like Argos? I'm doing a garden tea party on Saturday and am a little worried about the rain. Would one of these be a good idea. Thank you.

What do you call cheap. My daughter's boyfriend bought one off e-bay for £50.
When I play garden parties in my band, Horsey, they usually give us one of those. Works well. Just make sure you use guy-ropes if there's any wind around, or it'll end up in the next field ;o(

Thanks both. I think it's about £30 and then another £15 for the sides. I'm sure it will be fine, and I don't expect it will have THAT much use.
We've had a couple from Tesco - £29.50 - brilliant value. Although I wouldn't trust it to reall heavy rain it certainly is showerproof. I'd give it a go, oohing to lose!

I think I will. Thanks Jayne.
They can be a struggle to put up, much easier with 2 people
Tesco selling them off for about a tenner. Bought one a few years back when England went out of a football tournament for about £6 and its done the job, bit flimsy in wind but keeps the rain off.
