Any advice on the use of plastic pipes for central heating (oil fired)? Thank you.

Used all the time. Psy. It's just a matter of personal preference for plumbers.

Connections to a boiler are always made with copper or iron for the final short distance........ for obvious reasons.

What's your particular concern?
