Woodburner Chimney Flue Sweeping
4 Answers
Good morning,
with the weather getting cooler my Mother is thinking about lighting up the stove so I was wondering if she needs to have the flue swept?
I know the obvious answer is yes, but she only had the liner fitted last October and only burns dry wood, so I was under the impression that it didn't require sweeping every year, am I wrong on this assumption?
She has had the burner for a few years now, but was only told last year that she needed a liner fitting so this is the second winter she'll be using it with one, previously she'd been told that the chimney didn't need it, hence why I'm unsure.
Any advice gratefully received.
