Can anyone suggest a quick and easy way to clean the tiles in my fully tiled bathroom? I don't have a steamer, so it will be old fashioned elbow grease. Is there a way to do this without having to rinse anything off the tiles. TIA
By the way, I'm only small!
Fill the bath with very hot water, close the door, leave for 10 minutes. Scrape down with a window cleaner. (The rubber blade with a handle, not the hunky bloke).
agree with woofgang, the Karcher window washer is wonderful, you can wash the tiles and vacuum off the water without leaving a mess on the floor..............
Thanks for all our replies. I'm not able to buy a Karcher window washer (due to finances) but I will when I can afford it. Don't have a bath, only a shower so it will have to be Mr Muscle and me balancing on a ladder to reach the high bits!
White vinegar; put some in a spray bottle and spray the wall/tiles. Works great and you don't have to apply elbow grease. I use it all the time in my shower and never have to do much cleaning except rinse the walls. And I use the shower head to do this.
My mom had persistent stains on the tile in her shower stall she could never get off. When she was in the hospital, I really wanted to surprise her and get those stains off. I asked my boyfriend to pick up Mr. Clean sponge eraser for the bathroom. Well he made a fantastic error when he got the sponge eraser for the kitchen which has Dawn dish detergent in it. The degreaser component in it cleaned the tile up to a beautiful white. My mom was so excited.
