We are looking to buy a shower from a company (ie b and q) that fits showers free if bought from them or at least for a very reasonable fixed fee.
Had drainhero come out and they quoted us that it would take about an hour to fit at £90 p/h labor charge.
Thank inadvance for any advice here.
I agree with the others, get a price for supply and fit from a local. I generally wouldn't use a firm that priced work by the hour, I want a price for the job, that way you know exactly what you're paying.
I had an independent plumber fit ours, the price he quoted, for the model I wanted, was for "supply and fit". Go to a good local plumber and enquire.
By the way, the plumber who fitted our bathroom said it was a nightmare for them when people buy kit (which we did, from B&Q) then expect another company to fit it - if they buy themselves, they can be sure they've got all the bits and bobs and connectors they need.

In all fairness your primary question was very muddled.
You received advice.
Ignored it by stating you were going shopping.
And then get huffy because it was pointed out you were ignoring the good and consistent advice.
