Oven Coming On

3 year old Hotpoint pyroletic fan oven giving problems.
It switches itself on, the fan kicks in, then I hear it beep twice as it switches itself off again.
I'm thinking, could this be a potential fire hazard? Is it time to get another?

Maybe, but even if not it sounds like it needs checking. Waste of 'lectric at best.

Sounds like something is amiss with the oven timer system. If it`s only three years old, I doubt you need a new oven.

Faulty timer or switch I guess. Time to send for..............

To be safe, switch off at the wall when not in use..... until repaired.
