Reciprocating Saw.
21 Answers
I'd like to buy my daughter a reciprocating saw for Christmas. Can anyone recommend a good make and what should I look for or avoid?
Budget up to about £80 but will go more if it is needed.
Thanks...Gx

A bit of overkill for DIY though. I have Makita tools mostly, also some of this make. A good budget brand .............

A point to consider... Note how in Builder's two links the body and handle of the saw are well below the line of the blade teeth, whereas in Nibble's first link, the body and handle are higher. This was a point I considered in buying my saw, since the one in Nibble's example allows cuts to be made with the blade at less of a downward angle to, e.g., a batten nailed to a floor.
