Can anyone help please? I have lost the instructions for my Hoover Jovis 7.2 hand held vacuum cleaner and can't work out how to open the cylinder to empty it.

You pull the trigger loop under the handle

Unfortunately that is a Hoover Clik and mine is Hoover Jovis and they are not the same.

This Youtube video is in Dutch. If you bear with it, you'll see the demonstrator pressing the two large rectangular buttons on either side of the battery state indicator on the handle, and lifting the handle away from the dust collector...

Mine doesn't have the metal loop to lift out the cylinder.
