Planting heather in my daff patch!
A year ago I moved into this house which has a very plain garden. This suits me as I have two dogs who enjoy the space to play, and I have very little time for gardening. The only 'planted' area is a strip along the front of the house which has a lovely show of daffodils in spring, and where the rest of the summer there are ugly yellow-flowering plants. I'd like to dig it up and plant heather there instead (low maintenance and a bit tidier!) but wondered what to do about the daffodils, which I like.
