My toilet flushes well but it fills back up very slowly so you cannot flush it again for another 5 minutes or so. Is there anything i could do??

I've got the same problem, too idle at present to fix. What's happened to mine is the ballcock inlet is limescaled up. Flush empties the cistern, ballcock drops, and water should stream in and refill but has to trickle slowly through loads of limescale. Take the lid off and see if you have the same.

You can adjust the filler mechanism to speed up the flow of water into the cistern but you need to look at the mechanism to see what kind it is. They mostly work on a "rising waterlevel closes water inlet" basis and the trick is to adjust the float arm so that it drops down further as the cistern empties, thus letting water rush in more quickly. For limescale in a cistern get a bottle of the thick limescale dissolver gel stuff and whack it all over the limescale then leave over night without flushing then flush until the water comes out clear. WARNING if your loo system is old, then the limescale aggregation may be stopping leaks from places where washers have failed!!!! If you think this may apply to you then you may want to put up with the limescale!!!!! (can you tell who does the DIY round here???)
