Battery Operated Door Bell

Can anyone please recommend a really good cordless (battery) door bell which can also be lifted off the hook by the front door and taken into another room?

We have tried several different makes - from B&Q, Homebase and Wilkinsons but all of them seem to drain the battery in a couple of weeks for no apparent reason. Does anyone own one which lasts a long time? Many thanks.

Thanks for all your advice, I need to have a battery one as I have no plug socket near the front door. I will check all these ideas tomorrow. Thanks again!

I bought one from Lidl. Neighbour opposite also had one. When her doorbell rang so did mine. I got fed up answering door and no one there. I just happened to notice once there were people over the road who had rung her bell. I Asked her if she had a Lidl bell, she said yes. So obviously we were on the same wavelength. Got rid quick.
