Cats & Dogs.

Iv'e found that expensive chemicals that are suppose to "repel" cats and dogs from using my garden as a toilet don't work. So without going to the extra expense of buying an air gun does anyone have any other remedies. Thanks.

From Jordys earlier post
//people who have a dog will tell you it's a rescue dog that has been illtreated,we are not a nation of dog lovers we are a nation of dog owners//
Our Girl, on the right in Avatar was 2+ yrs when we rescued her, she was frightened to walk on carpet, which was awkward as apart from kitchen area and bathrooms everything was fully carpeted, cure involved me sitting on floor a bit further into the room every day for a week or three, she had no-idea how to play, chase a ball etc, she had to be taught, and as for being made a fuss of, getting a cuddle etc you could see the joy in her eyes when she sussed it.

We also have a "rescued dog" cross Australian Red Cattle + Sharpei (Ithink thats how you spell it), Rather unusual looking creature, ugly but interesting.
If I went to move a garden hose she would whimper and cringe at first.
Suspect the previous owners used to beat her with one.
Now she is a part of the family and nothing seems to worry her.
