Hi is there anyone out there who knows Hurstpierpoint, West Sussex.
We are a 43 year old respectable disabled lady and my 48 year old career. We have been offered a flat in blackthorns but have been informed that blackthorns is quite a dodgy area. Can you shed any light on this? Would you live here? Do you think it's suitable for my circumstances?

Excellent answer from chico. I have several friends in Hurstpierpoint and they LOVE it. They regret not moving there sooner. Good shops, restauruants and a nice "villagey" feel about the place. Lots of community things go on. Nearest rail station is Hassocks with excellent services up the line to east Croydon and London. Down the line to brighton and Hove. Haywards Heath and Burgess Hill are close by for supermarkets etc. I don't know Blackthorns exactly but it would be best to have a look first and see for yourselves. I wish you very good luck wherever you decide to live. xx
Agree with Janbee, Hurstpierpoint is very nice and has good connections. Like Jan, I don't know that particular area but you need to check it out yourself. Many people would be very happy to live in the area. Good luck, hope it works out.
