Quiet Upright Vacuum Cleaner

this is what I am looking for. I will be moving shortly to a flat & would like to buy a vacuum cleaner that is not too noisy. Does anyone have any advice please? It definitely needs to be an upright not cylinder type. thanks

You've probably realised that the quietest vacs are all cylinder models. Miele make the quietest uprights...their Cat & Dog being particularly quiet. It's also a very good performer...but pricey, and buying bags makes it even pricier to run. (Info from Which?.....not me!)

The Bosch GS50 Power Silence Bagless Cylinder Vacuum Cleaner is only 66dB and reputed to be the quietest on the Market. It is about £165 on Amazon so pretty good value too.
