I am moving on the 22nd this month.I've let my freezer run down but there's still food in it. I bought 2 big cooler boxes and 3 blue freezer blocks as there will be odds and ends from my fridge. I'm unsure as to the best time to defrost the freezer and fridge as I don't know how long the ice packs last. Suggestions please? TIA.

Nice thought sherrardk but the poor removal men have to lift them.I don't want to be forking out if they hurt their backs..lol.
I think I'd do it on the afternoon of the day before I moved kk but up to you really.

Gosh, don't think I even stuck the doors down with anything (but we have always done the moving bit ourselves).
