The magnetic seal on our shower is coming away from the door.

Before it falls off completely rendering it useless has anyone ever renewed the magnetic strip and was it successful?

I've looked online but it seems I need to know the thickness of the glass first but I am not sure how its going to work or which one to buy.

Any tips welcome please.

Showers with plastic doors are a pain - get rid of the doors and put up a simple shower curtain - it will stop you getting your elbows bashed as well.
If I got rid of my shower doors and fitted a curtain, I'd be falling out of it all the time!
cupotee, the glass thickness on shower doors are usually 6 or 8mm however some are 4mm and they even go up to 10mm.

Thanks for the replies.

Hate shower curtains, when they stick to you. I actually love being in my glass shower cubicle.

tonyav, I think I am going to have to visit a plumbing and bath store to see what they sell.

Thank you.

cupotee, could you not contact who ever fitted it for you ( the shower ), they maybe able to tell you what thickness of glass that they used.
