Any tried and tested tips for getting patches of green yuk off my concrete yard, deposits from overhanging shrubs next door?

You could try either a power washer or a strong solution of soda crystals and a stiff brush, followed by a hose down.

We've got a Karcher power washer and our patio has a small run-off that often gets green with the water running off it. The power washer has never fully shifted it - tried bleach and all kinds of other detergents.
Anyway, when we had our drive done, the firm recommended a product called "Dairy Hypochlorite".
I now use this to clean all of the patio (no need to get the power washer out anymore), I was that impressed with it, I even showed my neighbour. She commented how it looks like new ... and she wants me to get her some, the next time I get some :)

To be honest, I can't remember the dilution that I used.
It's actually used in the cleaning of the lines, etc in the dairy industry .... as the name suggests :)
I rang the firm up, that supplied it and asked them if it was okay to use it to clean the patio. I was told yea and was also told what dilution to use .... I've forgotten what they said, so when I need to use it again, I'm gonna have to ring them again. This time I'll make a note of the dilution on the container itself :)
