Could someone shed some light regarding to whether a local councillor could help me to resolve a council tax dispute for my letting property.
My letting property is not in the same locality of the councillors remit. Does he or she has the power to help?

Why not start with the Citizens Advice Bureau ? If they can't help, they'll know someone who can.
