I've been wearing my silver ring to the baths and the chlorine in the water has turned it greyish and dull. How do I clean it? Any household substances I could use?

Find a container large enough to immerse the item to be cleaned. Put a  piece of aluminium foil into the container and add hot water and salt. Dip the silverware into the solution and after a few seconds it will become white and shining. hope this helps(:)
An alternative to Vinny's. Use an old aluminium takeaway container and fill it with bicarbonate of soda solution. Drop the silver in and ... voila!!
Or, take it into your local jewellery repair/manufactures and get it polished up in seconds, using special polishing machinery. I work in one, and its amazing what the results can be.
You can buy jewellery cleaning cloths that are enpregnated with chemicals etc and clean most metals (precious & not) in seconds, plus the blacker the cloth goes the harder it works.  I too work in a jewellers and this is our best method for quick and sparkiling results.
Get Tonto to do it.

Thanks for the help.  I'm going to try the aluminium tricks first.  I think Tonto's hooves wouldn't be nimble enough.
No, Tonto was the native American, Silver was the Lone Ranger's horse.
And Tonto's horse was called 'Scout'.
