We have tiled our shower floor with ceramic tiles, but after several weeks, water is leaking downstairs. Is it possible to buy something that seals the grout and makes the floor more waterproof

Did you line the floor with a waterproof layer before tiling? You may need to do this (bitter experience)

Yes we covered the wooden floor boards with marine plywood.

and did you seal in the edges and joins of the ply with silicone? (Oh bitter bitter how bitter is experience)
