Coca Cola To Clean Toilet

Has anyone ever done this. We have a guest bathroom that doesn't get used much and , although we try to remember to use it now and then, a line forms , I suppose from the calcium in the water, in the toilet bowl. I heave read some where that if you pour a large bottle of coke in the bowl and leave it overnight, it gets rid of those deposits. Do you think it has to be real coca cola, or supermarket brand ? I know that sounds daft, but maybe there is an ingredient in one and not the other that does this.

Might be the same formula as Eddie said but this is the one I used. But I must admit hat I did not pay as much as it says there as at Wilkinson it is a bit cheaper around £7ish.

My local corner shop has spirits of salts for under £5 a bottle, I would not pay Amazon's price.
