As you know I bought sorta semi bloom basket yesterday and it is going to get large - I recall last year that the basket didn't get a chance to bloom its full bloomness because the little hook was too near the wall.

Is there a tip that I can get the basket to come further away from the wall. Please without screwing into walls etc cos I don't have the strength for that - maybe a wee tip.

Well baskets are supposed to hang off brackets, not hooks straight into the wall. The back will always get squashed if you do it that way.

that is what I mean Prude - it is brackets but they are fairly too near the wall. sorry for using hooks -
Oh I see, that suggests your baskets are too big for the size of brackets. Not much you can do about that now. You could try rotating them regularly - bring the back round to the front for example to give all sides the chance to flourish.

thought i could add more metal to the brackets (in my world)
Not a good idea :-) If you had someone to help and the money to spend then your best solution would be to buy new longer brackets (or smaller diameter baskets next time)
Could you not get a longer wall bracket and using the same plugged holes will avoid re drilling/plugging etc?
