Lawncare

My lawn has a tough rooted fern growing in it which appears to be immune to the Lawn feed and weedkiller treatment.
When resorting to just pulling it up, it leaves bare patches as it must kill the grass around it. Any ideas to what it is and how I can get rid of it.

try painting individual fronds with glyphosate weedkiller, the gel format is easiest
