Can anyone out there help please. I made some rasbperry jam (only a small amount) in one of my Le Creuset casserole pan last night. The jam came out a treat, but some of it got burnt on to the base of my LC pan. Have tried soaking it overnight in very hot water and some washing up liquid, and a little bit of the stuff has come off - but wondered if anyone out there can help, please. Thanks. Chox.

Keep on with the soaking in hot water and w-up liquid, Chox. I usually end up putting the casserole on the hob (containing said mixture and simmering for quite a while. Then it scours out, even if you have to repeat a bit.
Try washing powder.
this is what my sister told me to do ......put some salt on it when damp leave for a couple of hours then was off .
Boil up water and washing powder in it.
Leave it to soak overnight too.
Soak it overnight in hot water and biological soap powder. In the morning it will come away on its own.

Thanks for all your suggestions - will give them a go - been too busy over the weekend, but have kept the burnt on stuff wet. Appreciate your suggestions. Cheers, Chox.
a tin of pie filllller, something like cherries..empty in leave over night and rinse out..have done this with pans works a treat..get a cheap tin from supermarket
filler ^^
Use one of those wire scourers - not the soap filled ones. You can get them in packs from the pound shop. If they can get my oven door clean your casserole dish will be a piece of cake :)
