I don't think the grandchildren would enjoy swimming around with tadpoles and frogs for company!! I forgot to mention its a swimming (well paddling/wading) pool not a pond!

I used a shock treatment, Mayennaise....but that was a large pool with a pump etc...
I would phone any pool company and ask for advice.....All Swim in Cardiff is a helpful company......x
