No - but I wish I could!
First of all you may only kill a tree if it is yours and it is not protected by a tree preservation order (TPO) or in a conservation area. If you harm a protected tree and you are caught, the fines are severe, believe me. So given that it's your tree and you are allowed to fell it then call some registered tree surgeons and get some prices. It's the safest way of sealing with it. If you just kill it,it will still be there only dead and the dead branches will eventually break off in the wind and could hurt/kill someone. If the tree is less than,say,15ft tall you will be able to safely kill it by cutting a ring of bark off the tree 6" wide around the circumference as low to the ground as possible.
We had a sycamore cut down a few months ago and its sprouting branches all over the place. I told my son to strip the leaves as I hoped that would eventually kill it
if its a tree and not a sapling, you can get the stump ground out.
I heard you could drill holes and inject sour milk in
you can but I don't think it kills the tree :) more likely to attract blowflies.
If you're gonna drill the stump, pour neat glycosophate in the holes, not milk. Cover tightly with a bin bag, and leave. It will die.
Neat roundup for me too. Sour milk ???? whatever next...a hate dance ? lol
When I read milk can be used as as a tree killer, my first thought is what is Ric.ror on ?

... then I Googled it !

It's an alternative, but I think I will still go with Glyphosate !
Would cutting a ring of bark from low on the trunk have any effect?
Oh you see you all doubted me didn't you
But the old gal stumped you all (he he he)
hmmm like many other things, just cos its on the net don't mean its true.
I've heard nailing a few copper nails in the trunk kills a tree but as I've never done it I don't know if it works or not.
Triclopyr butoxy ethel ester as a basal injection from memory (just checked the spelling though)
