We are building our new home and will have his and hers dressing rooms with bathrooms. The plan for the guest rooms feature shower rooms with one sink, a friend said why not double sinks. I cannot imagine sharing a bathroom with my wife while we used separate sinks. Can anybody tell me why you would have two sinks?
I'm redoing my bathroom fairly soon and I want two sinks. If only to prove to my husband that he's the filthy sod that doesn't clean up after he's brushed his teeth.
Thanks Gavmacp, maybe I wasn't really clear with my question, the thought of two people standing side by side doing their ablutions fills me with horror. My wife agrees.
I also agree with you but I think many couples who share a bathroom would be comfortable doing stuff side by side (as long as it's not using 2 loos :-)
The man/ woman thing is quite an amusing/confusing thing. My friends husband is always telling her where she isn't doing something right as he wants to ensure the kids know there is a right way of doing something. One day I was helping with the clothes washing and found some of his clothes inside out and told her that she should speak to him about it. She had already spoken to him but he continues to ignore it.
I'm now struggling with your gender gavmacp. Anyway, been on site all day, just signed off the guest bathrooms, one sink, now heading home, 65 miles. Thanks to all for the suggestions.
