Try a small area with vasoline! Rub it in well and shine off. May help.

PVC not mentioned Baldric. Some heritage properties natural wood finishes.

You know what soxmis. I would try beeswax on the brown pvc as well.

A bit more research suggests that a 60/40 mix of MINERAL based paint thinners with BOILED linseed oil is very effective on uv damaged plastics. More than one coat and up to four is advised, lots of elbow grease wipe on and wipe off. 60% Mineral paint thinners 40% boiled linseed oil solution.
