Stairlift Rental

Looking for a reliable company from whom I can rent a stair lift for my elderly Mother. Any recommendations in the Birmingham area please.

These people do an installation from about £350 and then you rent it for £10 a week.

Whatever you do, do NOT use ACORN stairlifts, they are a total rip off company. I know this from a very troubled experience.

My Mum rented her`s from Stannah - excellent service.

We got my Mothers stairlift installed FOC as well as well as other aids to help her still live semi independently she gets 2 visits a day to make sure she is ok. Will check with my sister who dealt with paperwork this evening to see which agencies we contacted. The stairlift is serviced FOC only condition is that stairlift is returned when it is no longer needed but she is doing pretty well at 97 so hopefully not for a while yet

Catholic spoke to my sister my mums is funded 1/2 by local council and 1/2 by district council. Birmingham may be different.
