Help!!!please. Does anyone know if the solar powered animal repellers work and if so do they also deter hedgehogs (I don't want to do this)? Recently each morning I go out to find that I have been "gifted" a large pile of cat poo on my lawn. I would be very grateful for any other successful suggestions. The liquid I have used in the past is no longer on the market. Yours in desperation.

I`ve occasionally had cat dung in the middle of my lawn at the front of the house but recently a cat had taken to doing it every night. Every morning I would find another pile. It was a pain because I wanted to mow the lawn and couldn`t until we had some dry weather that would dry the mess up so that I could remove it. The cats particularly like to do it when the grass is longer. I got a diluted solution of Jeyes fluid in a sprayer and sprayed it over the lawn (in a low enough concentration not to destroy the grass). The cat hasn`t been back since. I`m not sure about the hedgehog situation as we don`t have those here.
Contech electronic (high pitch ultra sonic sound) will scare all cats - I promise. I have used it and seen it in action on a neighbors lawn. A 9v battery last all of the summer and the cats learn to avoid the area. They are about £60 imported from USA but i think there is now a UK distributor. Low maintenance easy to use - What else?!! Some other Chinese models don't do the job, I've had two others before I found this one. I have also tried various smelly pellets, which just make the neighbors complain!
in German there are aplant which its called "verpiss dich Pflanze" which means "*** of"-Plant. The Cats and Dogs hate it and avoid them
^ LOL. I must check at my local garden centre.
