Removing paint from a concrete ceiling

Hi,

I have flaking ceiling paint on a conrete ceiling and need to remove it to have it plastered. it is quite dry in places and I wondered if I need to use a product or can just use a scraper to get it off. Any ideas? I don't mind buying something or hiring a tool, just want it to be as quick and easy as possible.

If the paint is sound you can plaster over it, just remove flaking bits with a wire brush.
