Any ABrs recall a tennis sized 'soft ball' which appeared in the early 80s which could be thrown around inside your home without any risk of damage?
My kids loved these....and now I'm thinking if you can still get these balls, our kitten would have so much fun with one or two....

I remember there was something in the early 80s called 'Pelican Tennis'

The set came with 2 black plastics tennis rackets and a soft orange foam ball.

It was advertised on TV quite a bit and was a bit of a 'must have' toy. Was also the first example of a soft ball I can recall.
