Wasp Nest In Loft

there is a wasp nest in the loft and a person who is allergic to them in the house. is this a plan ? ensure they cant get in the house and wait for the temperature to drop when they become less active, then go up and spray the nest with the necessary to kill them ??

at what temperature do wasps become less active ??

is there other questions i should be asking ??

My wasp nest (outside) is now empty.
Most of it has now blown away. Will be clearing it to make sure not re-used next year.

if you have got someone in the house with an allergy, I’d be getting the pest control people out now, either from the council or a private firm. I am a live and let live type...never kill a wasp or a spider or anything but if allergy was involved then I am afraid that Mrs Nicelady goes out the window especially as now as the wasps get sleepy they are more likely to sting.

Leave the wasps alone - they'll all be dead soon anyway. Keep some anti-histamine tablets in the house in the unlikely event of the allergic person being stung.

diddlydo that is really not good advice. If the person has an allergy serious enough for it to be known about then the next wasp sting can be the one that puts them into anaphyllactic shock.

I wouldn't leave them there - I'd get someone in to get rid of them.

Woofgang - the person is just as likely to get stung by a wasp in the garden or walking down the street.
