I have a complete wreck of a pond in my garden and would like a new one built.  Does anyone know anyone in the East London/Essex area who could do this.

The hole is already dug.  About 10 feet by 6 and approx 3 feet deep at one end.  I would also like a beach so that my dogs can get out if they fall in.

I am very reluctant to go through the yellow pages etc

Despite your reticence to use Yellow Pages, I think your best bet is to look under 'Water Garden Services'. This should enable you to get quotes from several sources.
