what is the best way to hide a pond liner?

Well you could put it in the loft or in a shed under a pile of blankets......or you could plant plants around the edge of the pond. japanese maples, creeping jenny, junipers, bugle and any of the spreading alpines will do nicely. A little more info in the initial question would be nice !!!

sorr, more info................... I have just finnished digging the pond and have purchased the liner.  I see lots of ponds with liners which are visible around the edges and it looks terrible.

It will really depend on where the pond is....if it's in the middle of the lawn, you can literally cut the liner to within 6" of the sides and lay turf onto the overlap and even have the turf so it actually goes into the water. If it's in the middle of a patio, crazy paving or even cut patio slabs would be fine. Leaving small pockets of soil around the edge would be nice so thew plants i mentioned in my first post can be tucked into the soil and allowed to trail into the water> If there's any more info you need...please ask.
