I am in a Housing Association property. I understand that even though we cant buy the property an amount of money can be paid to the tenant to move out and buy somewhere else. The housing association are saying that legislation is not completed yet on this subject. does anyone know about this please?

You may be thinking of another scheme called 'Right To Acquire' which is more flexible than Right to Buy. As you say this area of law is currently being changed.
