How To Open Flush Fitting Wall Light

I have a circular plastic outside light where the cover is flush with the base. It does not unscrew, the cover just rotates endlessly, and there are no spaces to prise it off with a screwdriver. I need to change the bulb, how should I go about removing it?

If the plastic cover is inside the base, look or feel for markers on opposite sides and squeeze the cover at those points as you pull it off.( not meant to be humorous).

Have you tried pushing the whole unit upwards? It could be hung on a screw.
