Are you using cheap bulbs perhaps ? Have you disturbed a connection somewhere ? Is the circuit breaker faulty perhaps ? Either way if you are not qualified you really should get a qualified, registered Electrician in to test and locate the problem.
Yes, it will cost but peace of mind with electrics is essential. We wouldn't like to learn of your demise due to an electrical fire for example !
thanks - i know i need an electrician really, just needed someone else to tell me i guess! Billy - i'm ashamed to say it was in the kitchen!!! oooo i'm in so much trouble - but i hoped that as I wasn't fitting anything new - just tidying up an existing problem i could try to ignor building regs - well lesson in this somewhere i guess...
