I planted some lavender seeds and eventually some little plants have grown. Thing is, are they lavender? They are small cress-like shoots, with tiny "pods" that burst if you touch them, and pop a little green curly thing out quite far! So, I know how it reproduces, but don't know what it is.

Does this seem like early stage lavender to you??!

Hi Pickly,

Bank is slowly drying out.. My Dad still maintains that there is no solution, other than digging up the entire ground floor, which is not really worth the bother of the occasional flood! My weed is so sad. I looked after it so well... Stupid lavender seeds. Yes, my Mum is going to give me a pot of hers!!x

lavender grows easy from seed i got 36 plants from one packet..if you start them off in pots in a tray with a cover on a sunny window ledge they will soon come through..but not this time of the year..its best to start them in april..
