I am having a brain block or I am thick. I want to purchase tiles on b&q website and they come in a box of 8 tiles, my area is 4sq metre. How many boxes do I need?

Each tile is 300mmX 400mm that is .12 sq mtrs each. 8 per pack is .9 sq mtrs with spaces .96 sq mtrs. 5 packs and some over.

Each tile has an area of 0.52 sq metres- call it 0.5, so you could just get by with 1 box of 8 tiles if you can cut them up and use little strips, but it would look very messy. Depending on the actual measurements ad whether ther eis a pattern you need to take account of I expect you will need 2 packs. But maybe get 3 and you can a;ways reurn one of unopened
Double check the figures using B&Q own calculator (which includes 10% wastage estimate only).

Covering 4 sq metres using 300mm x 400mm tiles appears to require 40 = 5 boxes - and not much in the way of "spares."
