I had a quote from my longstanding trusted plumbing firm for installing a 35cdi. Unfortunately the firm has just closed. One of the plumbers (also trusted) is setting up on his own and has quoted for an 18i. I just wanted an independent view of what the differences between the two boilers are, please?
Thank you!

Looking at TC's links shows that the numerals in the model number tell you the power. i.e. the 18i has a power output of 18kW, whereas the 35cdi has a nominal power output of 35kW (although it's actually 34kW).

So you need to take the size of your house into account. (18kW should be perfectly adequate for a small or medium-sized house).

Thank you, both! I had looked at the Worcester website but was a bit boggled by the techy stuff.
