Can Anyone Help?

I was brought up using a gas oven so I have an idea of what heat each gas mark generates. I now have an electric oven so am unsure of what equals what. Earlier on I put a shoulder of lamb in to slow cook. With gas I would have put it on 1/2 but haven't got a clue what the electric equivalent is. Has anyone got a conversion table for future reference?
