Can anyone recommend a good quality non stick oven proof cooking pot for about £40 -50, also what does the size mean, what does 30cm mean, diameter or depth.

Many thanks.

Dave.

30cm is the diameter. I have had a Circulon casserole for over twenty years and it is still good.

Thanks Danny, I was looking at one of those but I would rather hear first hand accounts like yours, so I may look again at one of those.

Thanks.
Le Creuset is good. You can sometimes get one for around your chosen budget from those factory seconds shopping centres.

I wouldn't be without mine. I use it for everything.
I've had mine for a good 20+years. While it's not non stick, it's still easy to clean.
The measurement will refer to the diameter.
I can recommend Meyer stock pots. I have had mine for years, in fact I have the whole set.
I have a stainless steel Sitram casserole - not officially non-stick but nothing sticks unless you're really careless! Better than Le Creuset as it's not so heavy when full (and costs a lot less).

thanks for all your answers im now stuck for a best answer as they are all good.

Dave.
I got a big elliptical cast iron pot from Sainsburys for about £35 recently. It's great. Not non-stick, but it cleans easily, and I think will do so forever.
